My son was hit by a car while crossing State Street in Doylestown, PA.  In a pedestrian accident case, who pays for the pedestrian's medical bills?

A Stroudsburg, PA area resident was crossing his street after visiting a neighbor when he was struck by a speeding motorist.  The pedestrian accident victim was thrown up onto the hood of the car and hit the windshield.

The Pocono Mts. resident was taken to the Lehigh Valley Trauma Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Surgery was performed as a result of significant injuries to his leg and hip.  The injured pedestrian was unable to work for a number of months due to his severe injuries.

Montgomery County, PA

A pedestrian was crossing a parking lot in a shopping mall next to Rt. 202 in Montgomery County.  As the pedestrian accident victim was walking through a designated crosswalk, a negligent driver went through a stop sign and crashed into him.

The Montgomery County resident was thrown up onto the windshield with such force that the windshield was broken!  The pedestrian accident victim then fell face down onto the asphalt parking lot.

The pedestrian was flown by Medevac helicopter to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  He was diagnosed as having suffered 2 fractures of his jaw and also needed 4 stitches to close a chin laceration.  The pedestrian knockdown victim then underwent a closed reduction surgery to repair the fracture sites in his jaw.

A young girl was walking along the shoulder of a road outside of Stroudsburg when she was struck by an automobile.  The pedestrian accident victim was taken by ambulance to the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  A plastic surgeon repaired a laceration to her cheek by using a number of stitches.
