On June 18, 2013, Attorney Thomas J. Newell was hired by the parents of a Cumberland County PA pit bull attack victim. The 9 year-old girl was visiting a friend’s house. They owned an adult male pit bull. The victim was sitting in a chair in the Defendants’ home when the pit bull jumped up and bit her in the face.
The Carlisle PA dog bite victim was immediately taken to Carlisle Regional Hospital where she was admitted. Surgery was performed and the surgeon told the victim’s father, “I put everything back together the best I could.” Her next doctor’s appointment is on Wednesday.
