Posted on: October 23rd, 2013       Attorney Thomas Newell

On October 21, 2013, Attorney Newell presented a Petition for Minor’s Compromise to Judge Fritsch of the Orphans’ Court Division of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.  In the summer of 2012, a thirteen year-old boy was visiting his friend in Lower Bucks County PA.  As he entered his friend’s home, a pit bull attacked the young boy and bit his hands and right leg.

PIT BULL #12The Bucks County dog attack lawyer promptly referred the young boy to a specialist to make sure that the tingling and burning sensations in his hands were only temporary.  Fortunately, those issues were resolved within 3 or 4 months and no further medical care was necessary.  The dog bite wounds healed nicely and plastic surgery was not required.

Attorney Thomas J. Newell negotiated with the defendant’s homeowners insurance company and was happy to obtain a $53,000.00 payout for the Bucks County pit bull attack victim.  Call Attorney Newell @ 1-800-980-4842 to set up your free home consultation anywhere in Pennsylvania.  Visit his website:  www.PADogAttackLawyer.com

On October 1, 2013, Thomas J. Newell, Esquire obtained court approval for a $75,000.00 dog bite settlement after a 4 year old girl was mauled by her aunt’s Labrador Retrievers.  Two years earlier, the little girl was an invited guest of her aunt and was attacked almost immediately after she entered the home in West Chester PA.

LABS - 2Surgeons at Chester County Hospital used 6 staples and 10 stitches to repair the dog bite wounds to her scalp and shoulder.  A year after the Chester County dog attack, Attorney Newell suggested to the girl’s parents that they have their daughter examined by a plastic surgeon.  The doctor wrote a report which indicated that the scar on her right shoulder had healed nicely and plastic surgery was not necessary.
