On August 10, 2011, a 15 month-old girl was viciously attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull. As described on cbspittsburgh.com, the Allegheny County PA dog bite victim was bitten by the pit bull after it had broken off its chain.
The Millvale PA resident was bitten on her face and arm. Witnesses said that a portion of her nose was dangling on her face. The little girl’s father was bitten on the hand as he came to her rescue. Neighbors told reporters that this pit bull is known to be an aggressive dog and they fear that another pit bull attack will take place if the dog is not put down.
