An August 17, 2012 investigative report on wpxi.com highlighted a recent pit bull attack which left the victim hospitalized while the pit bull owner fled the area. On Aug. 13th, an eleven year old boy was playing video games at his uncle’s home in Donora PA. Suddenly the boy was attacked by his uncle’s 2 pit bulls.
The Washington County dog bite victim suffered severe dog bite wounds to the head and arms. 13 staples were needed to close a large wound to his head. Stitches were used to close the dog bite lacerations on both arms.
The Washington County pit bull owner fled the area with his two pit bulls. Donora police are investigating. Hopefully, PA Dog Law charges, as well as criminal citations will follow.
