On Feb. 13, 2012, the Chester County District Attorney announced an arrest regarding the fatal motorcycle-car hit & run accident in East Brandywine Township on Feb. 5, 2012. According to articles in The Pottstown Mercury and abclocal.go.com, Michael Orsini was riding his motorcycle on Route 322 at around 11:00 p.m. when a Chevy Cavalier hit the cycle and ran him off the road.

First responders arrived at the scene of the Rt. 322 motorcycle crash and found a badly wrecked motorcycle and severely injured Orsini. The Chester County PA motorcycle crash victim was taken to Brandywine Hospital and then airlifted to the Paoli Hospital Trauma Unit where he died a short time later.

Police found an abandoned Chevy Cavalier on Route 30 with its license plate removed. The car had serious accident-related damage and its airbags had been deployed.
