On July 3, 2012, the family of a boy who had been bitten by a neighbor’s rottweiler hired Attorney Thomas J. Newell to represent their son. The young boy was an invited guest and was playing basketball on the neighbor’s driveway when he was attacked by this vicious rottweiler. He sustained injuries to both arms and was immediately taken for medical treatment at a facility in East Stroudsburg PA.
The Monroe County PA dog bite victim was given antibiotics. Unfortunately, he developed an infection with a 102 degree fever. Follow-up medical care was provided by his pediatrician. Permanent scars to his left arm/wrist are anticipated. The Monroe County PA dog Warden, George Nixon, is investigating the rottweiler attack for possible PA Dog Law violations.
