On Oct. 11, 2012, a Bethlehem PA postal worker was mauled by a pit bull as she was delivering mail in Bethlehem. An article on mcall.com reported that a pit bull escaped from its yard and went after the female mail carrier. She tried to use pepper spray to stop the pit bull but it continued its assault. Numerous PA Dog Law charges are expected, including failure to confine (3 P.S. §459-305).
