On July 2, 2013, a bicyclist lost his left leg below the knee after being hit by a car in Carnegie PA. Police said that the bicyclist was weaving in and out of traffic prior to the crash. Nearby surveillance video allegedly showed that the bike rider turned into oncoming traffic thereby causing the accident. The driver will not be charged with any violations of the PA Motor Vehicle Code.
