On Dec. 30, 2010, a Delaware County PA bicyclist was hit and killed by a drunk hit & run driver. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a 62 year-old bicycle rider from Lansdowne PA was struck from behind by the defendant’s pick-up truck. The bicyclist was thrown 30′ into the air by the force of the bicycle accident. The PA bicycle accident victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The defendant fled the scene of the bicycle accident and hit a minivan in his haste to escape. Upper Darby Police were able to apprehend the defendant.
