On May 2, 2013, an Erie PA bicycle rider died after she collided with a tractor-trailer in Erie. As described on erietvnews.com, the 58 year old woman was turning onto Bayfront Parkway when she apparently lost control and bumped into the side of the truck. The back tires of the tractor-trailer ran over her as she lay on the road. Erie Police Department is investigating this fatal bicycle accident case.
