On Sept. 30, 2011, Pennsylvania State Police from the Honesdale Barracks found the body of a fatal bicycle accident victim off of Route 507. According to The Wayne Independent, a 56 year old bicyclist from Gouldsboro had been missing for 3 days. Investigators determined that the Wayne County resident had been riding his bicycle when he rode down an embankment off of Rt. 507 and crashed.
