On Aug. 13, 2012, Attorney Thomas J. Newell learned that a Bucks County PA pit bull owner had plead guilty to 2 violations of the PA Dog Law, including harboring a dangerous dog.  The defendant, a Hulmeville PA resident, owned a pit bull that recently attacked a 13 year-old boy.

The Bucks County pit bull attack victim needed 9 stitches to close dog bite wounds to his hands and leg.  He continues to complain of numbness flowing from his wrists into his fingers.  According to a Doylestown PA area hand surgeon, the nerves in his hands need time to regenerate.
