On May 1, 2013, an Allentown PA driver was sentenced to 9 to 23 months in jail after his flight from police resulted in a crash in Slatington. According to The Morning Call, Brady Gruver drove up to 115 mph to try to avoid police after being pulled over on Route 22 near the Route 309 exit. The defendant’s flight from the police was ended when he crashed his car on Main Street in Slatington.
