On Feb. 7, 2012, a 54 year old Allentown resident was driving south on Ruppsville Road in Upper Macungie Township. According to wfmz.com, the Lehigh Valley driver crossed into the path of an oncoming train and his car was struck on the passenger side causing extensive damage. The Lehigh County car accident victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
