On July 31, 2011 a car crash on Rt. 33 in Plainfield Township resulted in the death of a Lehigh Valley car accident victim. As described on LehighValleylive.com, 2 cars were traveling south on Route 33 when a 41 year-old resident of Bethlehem Township tried to pass a man from Saylorsburg. The woman’s Subaru Forester struck the front of his car causing her to lose control and slam into a tree. The Northampton County Coroner declared her dead at the scene of the Rt. 33 accident.
