Car Crash Shuts Down PA NE Turnpike Extension

On July 20, 2011, a one-vehicle crash took place in Montgomery County on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension.  According to wfmz.com, a Jeep went out of control and crashed.  The PA TPK was shut down to allow a medevac helicopter to land at the Montco car accident site.  Both occupants of the motor vehicle were ejected from the Jeep upon impact.  They were flown to Abington Hospital’s Trauma Unit.
