On April 5, 2011, an Albrightsville PA teenage driver was killed in a car crash on Route 115 in Monroe County. According to The Morning Call, the 18 year-old girl lost control of her SUV on Route 115 and veered into the path of an oncoming van. Apparently, the teenage driver was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from her vehicle onto Rt. 115. She was taken by the Pocono Mountain Regional Ambulance crew to Geisinger Medical Center where the Carbon County resident was pronounced dead.
