Crash Ties up Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike

On June 26, 2011 a motor vehicle crash in Carbon County caused a backup of traffic on the Northeast Ext. of the Pennsylvania Tpk.  According to The Morning Call, a camper overturned in the southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County about 15 miles north of the Lehigh Tunnel.  Traffic returning from the Pocono Mountains was backed up for miles.
