On January 2, 2013, a Berks County driver was killed in a car accident on Rt. 100 in Lehigh County. According to The Morning Call, the 28 year-old woman was driving northbound on Route 100 at 4:13 a.m. when she collided with a pick-up truck in Lowhill Township. She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown PA where she was pronounced dead from multiple blunt force injuries.
