An August 6, 2012 article in the Morning Call detailed a fatal car crash on Interstate 81 that resulted in the deaths of 3 passengers. It is alleged that the driver of a van fell asleep at the wheel in Schuylkill County. The van went down an embankment. None of the deceased were wearing seatbelts.
