On May 29, 2012, a fatal Rt. 422 car crash claimed the life of an Indiana County PA driver. According to timesonline.com, the woman was driving a SUV on Route 422 when she tried to pass a truck. She crashed head-on into a coal truck and was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal Armstrong County auto accident.
