On July 26, 2011, a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 78 in Lower Saucon Township took the life of a passenger in a car. The car’s driver was driving the wrong way in the westbound I-78 lanes when the automobile collided with a tractor-trailer. According to The Morning Call, the Northampton County Coroner declared the passenger dead at the scene of the fatal Interstate 78 accident.
