On Feb. 11, 2011, a multi-vehicle crash on I-81 in Dauphin County resulted in the death of a Luzerne County driver. According to CBS21, cars were backed up on an off ramp of Interstate 81 when a dump truck rammed into the rear of a Volvo. This crash caused a chain reaction which resulted in damages to other motor vehicles. The driver of the Volvo was trapped inside and died. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the fatal Dauphin County accident.
