On October 2, 2013, a 21 year old Lansdale resident was killed after his car struck a pick-up truck and then collided with a garbage truck. According to The Morning Call, the Montco driver was heading south on Bethlehem Pike when the multi-vehicle fatal crash took place. Police reported that the drivers of the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries.
