On Dec. 14, 2010, a Lehigh Valley man sustained serious injuries in a one-car crash on Route 22 near the Cedar Crest Blvd. exit. As described in The Morning Call, the Whitehall Township resident was driving westbound on Rt. 22 when he lost control of his Toyota Scion. The car rolled over a number of times. The PA car crash victim was ejected from the car because he was not wearing his seatbelt.
