On Sept. 5, 2010, a one-car crash in Marshalls Creek PA claimed the life of an East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania driver. According to the Pocono Record, the Monroe County driver was traveling on Marshalls Creek Road in Middle Smithfield Township at 2:36 a.m. He lost control of his Hyundai, left the road and crashed into a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The Monroe County Coroner pronounced the East Stroudsburg driver dead at the scene of the crash.
