On Oct. 23, 2011, a Saylorsburg PA driver was killed in a 1 car crash in Monroe County. According to The Pocono Record, the 26 year-old Poconos resident was driving east on Effort-Neola Road when he lost control of his automobile, left the roadway and struck a tree. Pennsylvania State Police at the Fern Ridge Barracks are investigating the fatal crash.
