On Jan. 12, 2012, a multi-vehicle crash closed down westbound I-80 near Stroudsburg. According to The Pocono Record, approximately 6 vehicles were involved in the Interstate 80 crash. Rescue vehicles ultimately cleared the highway of the damaged motor vehicles and I-80 was re-opened to traffic.
