PA State Police Use Plane to Catch Route 33 Speeders

On March 22, 2011, Pennsylvania State Police from the Belfast Barracks used a small airplane to nab speeding drivers on Rt. 33 in Bushkill Township. According to The Morning Call, the police issued 6 speeding citations including 1 to a driver traveling 92 mph. State records show that this section of Route 33 is one of the most accident prone on the highway.
