On Jan 30, 2011, a multi-vehicle accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike resulted in the death of a Greensburg PA driver. According to The Daily American, the Westmoreland County resident lost control of his car in the eastbound lanes of the PA TPK. His automobile was then struck by 2 tractor-trailers traveling just behind him on I-76. The Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed for nearly 8 hours after the fatal crash.
