On Nov. 27, 2010, a Canadensis driver died in a one-car crash on Rt. 390 in Greene Township. According to The Pocono Record, the Monroe County resident lost control of his 2008 Audi and crashed into a tree. The car rolled over before coming to a rest off of Route 390. The Pike County Deputy Coroner pronounced the driver dead at the scene of the accident. The newspaper stated that the Canadensis man was the 33rd person to die on Pocono roadways in 2010.
