On Dec. 31, 2011, a Rt. 22 car crash claimed the life of a Dallas PA man. As noted on wfmz.com, the 53 year-old driver was westbound on Route 22 when he lost control around a curve, hit an embankment and rolled over several times. He was rushed from the crash site in Bethlehem Township to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem where he died of injuries from the fatal Rt. 22 car wreck.
