A July 2, 2012 article from the Pocono Record reported on a 6/29/12 car crash that injured 5 people on Rt. 33 in Hamilton Township. A Saylorsburg PA man was driving north on Route 33 when he struck another vehicle as he tried to pass it. That car then hit a Jeep Commander driven by a Henryville PA woman. 4 of the 5 victims were taken to Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg PA.
