On April 24, 2010, a 54 year-old man died after a one car crash on Route 33 near the off-ramp to William Penn Highway. As per lehighvalleylive.com, the driver was southbound on Rt. 33 when he lost control of his car. The motor vehicle flipped several times and he was ejected from the car. The driver was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
