On April 12, 2012, a one-car accident took place in Monroe County PA on Interstate 80. According to The Morning Call, an East Stroudsburg resident was driving eastbound on I-80 in Tunkhannock Township when a wild turkey flew into her windshield causing her to lose control of her automobile. She was treated at Pocono Medical Center.
