Fed Ex Employee Attacked by Boxers in Dauphin County

On November 21, 2012, a Dauphin County dog attack left a Fed Ex delivery person with multiple dog bite wounds.  She was delivering a package to a home in Millersburg PA.  Three boxers came running out of the defendants’ backyard toward the woman as she was walking up the driveway.  One boxer ripped the package out of her hand.  Two of the boxers fought over the parcel as it fell to the ground.

#10As the Pennsylvania dog bite victim started to return to her delivery truck, 2 or 3 of the boxers viciously attacked.  She was bitten multiple times in the buttocks, left thigh and left calf.  The York County resident was able to fight off the dogs before the negligent dog owner came out of his home.  The Fed Ex employee went to a Halifax PA medical office for care regarding her dog bite wounds.  She was given a tetanus shot and antibiotics.

Dauphin County Dog Warden, Chris Seiple, will be investigating this unprovoked attack.  Hopefully, PA Dog Law citations will follow, including failure to confine and harboring a dangerous dog.  If you or a loved one have been attacked by a dog in PA, call Attorney Newell at 800-980-4842.  Put his 31 years of experience to work for you.  Visit his website:  www.PADogAttackLawyer.com.
