Guilty Plea in Fatal Chester County Car Crash

On June 29, 2011, a 17 year-old driver entered a guilty plea regarding the death of a Chester County car accident victim in a Feb. 19, 2011 auto crash. According to Philly.com, the teenager pled guilty to homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault and numerous violations of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.

The Chester County District Attorney’s Office alleged that the reckless driver was speeding on Glenside Avenue at 61 mph in a 30 mph zone. The teenager was going after another automobile when he lost control of his pick-up truck, crossed into the opposite travel lane and hit a car head-on. The 19 year-old victim from Downingtown was taken from the scene of the fatal PA car crash to Brandywine Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
