On December 14, 2012, a Harrisburg PA dog attack victim consulted with Attorney Newell.  On Dec. 8th, she was walking her beagle mix with a leash on a sidewalk.  Another woman was walking a black lab.  The 2 dogs sniffed each other.  They then started to act aggressively and began to fight.  The lab got the beagle’s left front leg in its mouth and bit down so hard that it fractured the leg.

BEAGOEThe Dauphin County dog attack victim injured her right hand while trying to save her beagle.  A local vet reset the dog’s leg and placed it in a cast.   Surgery is needed to install a plate at the fracture site.  The estimated vet bill is over $3,000.00.  Attorney Newell supplied her with a copy of 2 relevant sections of the PA Dog Law to assist her in obtaining restitution.
