Hearing Set For Dauphin County PA Dog Law Charges

On January 4, 2013, Attorney Thomas J. Newell received word that a 1/10/13 hearing date has been set for a Harrisburg area court appearance for 2 Dauphin County dog owners. Cliff Schaffner and Krista Sutton have been charged with PA Dog Law violations as a result of a November 21, 2012 unprovoked dog attack in Millersburg Pennsylvania.

BOXER - SINGLEA Fed Ex worker had been to the defendants’ home to deliver a package when she was attacked by their boxers that were running loose and unrestrained on the driveway. The Dauphin County dog attack victim has permanent scars from the dog bites. As of this date, the defendants have refused to provide Attorney Newell with their insurance information. Litigation is expected to commence shortly.
