Lancaster Pit Bull Attack Victim Consults Attorney Newell

Posted on: October 1st, 2012       Attorney Thomas Newell

On Sept. 26, 2012, a Lancaster PA pit bull attack victim consulted Attorney Thomas J. Newell. Several weeks ago she was walking her dog in the neighborhood when a pit bull ran off of its property and tried to attack her leashed dog. As the Lancaster resident was protecting her dog, the vicious pit bull bit her left thigh.

The PA dog bite victim received follow-up medical care at Lancaster General Hospital. The dog bite wounds were cleaned and she was given antibiotics. The pit bull was quarantined for 10 days and the Lancaster City Animal Control Officer is investigating the case for potential PA Dog Law violation charges. It appears that the pit bull was up-to-date with its rabies shots.
