A November 12, 2013 report on WGAL TV highlighted multiple criminal charges filed against a Lancaster pit bull owner.  She had purchased an 11 month old pit bull and was specifically warned not to leave the dog around children due to its aggressive demeanor.  The new owner disregarded the warning and dropped off the pit bull at her residence where 4 children were inside.

PIT BULL #12Soon thereafter, the vicious pit bull began an unprovoked attack on a 5 year-old girl causing serious injuries.  The defendant then went to the work place of the former owner and punched her – an act caught on the store’s video surveillance.  The police have charged the pit bull owner with simple assault and recklessly endangering the welfare of a child.
