Lehigh County Dog Bite Victim Consults Attorney Newell

Posted on: August 10th, 2012       Attorney Thomas Newell

On Aug. 1, 2012, a Lehigh County PA dog bite victim contacted Attorney Thomas J. Newell after a recent dog attack in Orefield, Pennsylvania.  The gentleman was walking his Maltese on a sidewalk with a leash when a Labrador Retriever came running up to them.  The lab was unrestrained and tried to bite the Maltese.

The Lehigh Valley dog attack victim picked up the Maltese.  As he did so, the Retriever bit his foot and arm.  He went to St. Luke’s Hospital where he needed approximately 20 stitches to close the wound to his leg.  A tetanus shot was administered and antibiotics were provided, as well as a pain killer.

Attorney Newell suggested he contact the Lehigh County Dog Warden – Orlando Aguirre, to see if PA Dog Law charges could be filed against the negligent dog owner.  If you or a loved one need legal representation after a PA dog bite, call 800-980-4842 to speak with Attorney Thomas J.
