On March 17, 2011, a Berks County biker was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Oley Township. As described on wfmz.com, the rider lost control of his motorcycle on Old State Road and went off the roadway striking a tree. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike. He was originally Medevaced to Reading Hospital but later taken to another medical center.
