On Nov. 20, 2010, a Monroe County PA motorcycle accident victim died due to a collision on Rt. 209 in Smithfield Township. According to the Pocono Record, the East Stroudsburg `cyclist lost control of his Harley-Davidson on Route 209 and crossed over into the oncoming lane of travel. The rider struck a Dodge Caravan. He died later that evening at PMC in East Stroudsburg.
