On 6/26/14, Dante Rau was charged with homicide by vehicle under the influence of drugs after a May 3, 2014 fatal motorcycle accident. According to wfmz.com, the driver rear-ended the cyclist, drove over the motorcycle and dragged the rider for nearly 750 feet before stopping. The motorcycle rider was declared dead at the scene of the crash.
