On April 6, 2014, a motorcycle rider from Dickson City, PA died in a one vehicle crash on Interstate 81. According to The Times Leader, the rider was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his Triumph motorcycle on southbound I-81. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
