On May 20, 2013, a Lawrence County PA woman was charged with homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter after she killed a motorcycle rider on May 7, 2013. According to wcn247.com, the woman’s phone records proved she was texting when she rear-ended the motorcycle on Route 596. The 68 year-old ‘cyclist was a local volunteer fire chief.
