On April 30, 2010, a Poconos motorcycle accident resulted in the death of a cycle rider and his passenger. As described in the Pocono Record, a Lackawanna County motorcycle rider was operating his 2006 Ducati motorcycle on Locust Ridge Road in Tobyhanna Twp. when he lost control, left the road and crashed into a tree.
The rider and female passenger were declared dead at the scene by the Monroe County Coroner’s office. The Pocono Mountain Regional Police investigated the motorcycle accident.
