A May 27, 2010 accident involving a car and motorcycle on Route 33 resulted in the death of both operators. According to wfmz, the crash took place at 10:00 p.m. in Lower Nazareth Township. A southbound car crossed the center median on Rt. 33 and collided with a northbound motorcycle being driven by a Nazareth resident. The Northampton County Coroner’s Office declared both operators dead at the scene of the tragic accident.
